How it works:

The first step is to meet at the projects location to discuss your vision and define the Scope of Work.

Once the scope of work is established, I will provide a formal estimate based on the projects complexity and the required amount of drawings.

Upon your approval to proceed, I will begin drawing the existing and/or proposed floor plans using the latest AutoCAD software. We will work together closely, reviewing multiple proposed floor plan options to ensure the design perfectly aligns with your lifestyle. 

Following the floor plan approval, I will draft the exterior elevations. This stage allows you to visualize the home’s exterior that matches the floor plan we designed. This is where you can refine the architectural style to your preference. 

Once the Floor plan and Elevations are approved, I’ll begin the foundation plan. This shows the foundation contractor where all footings and foundation walls will be located.

Next, I’ll move onto drawing the framing plans. This is where the Inspector, contractor and the structural engineer will see the framing being proposed. This plan shows the sizing wall all lumber. Including floor joists, ceiling joists, collar-ties and roof rafters.

Once the framing plans are finalized, I will complete the full set of construction drawings. You will receive a digital draft for final review; once approved, I will provide the finished, high-resolution house plans for your use."
